Place a Hold Request on the item through our discovery system
When you receive an email notification that the item is ready to be picked up, forward it to ill@sbts.edu
In your email, please include the address where you'd like the item(s) shipped.
Turn-Around Time
Generally, requests are processed and sent within 1-2 business days. Items are sent via library rate which is slower than regular mail, so please allow time for shipping.
Restrictions
Materials may only be mailed to current distance students within the United States.
Certain items that cannot be sent to students include but are not limited to:
You will be notified of due dates through your seminary-issued email.
For items sent via Interlibrary Loan, consult the instructions for returning ILL.
Renewing
Once an item is no longer renewable, it must be returned to the library.
If you still need the item, we will recheck it and mail it back to you provided it has no hold requests. Please include a note with your items indicating:
which items to check out to your account
your name and student id number
your current mailing address
Returning
Patrons are responsible for the safe return of all books.
We recommend that you insure and track your package.
Items will be considered returned according to the date they are postmarked.
