Requesting Articles or Scans

  • Please fill out the Article Request form after reading the following:
  • Please search our databases for full-text articles and ebooks before requesting a scan.
  • Requests for items currently checked-out will be placed on hold and scanned to you upon return. Please do not place holds on items yourself.
  • Materials not held by SBTS may be requested through our Interlibrary Loan service.
  • Copyright guidelines will be followed so some requests may not be processed. We will provide one chapter or up to 10% of a book.

Requesting Physical Items

  • Place a Hold Request on the item through our discovery system
  • When you receive an email notification that the item is ready to be picked up, forward it to ill@sbts.edu

Turn-Around Time

Generally, requests are processed and sent within 1-2 business days. Items are sent via library rate which is slower than regular mail, so please allow time for shipping.
