The James P. Boyce Centennial Library subscribes to Mango Languages online to provide convenient language instruction to current students, faculty, staff, and their households. It offers a wide variety of languages including Spanish, French, German, Greek (Modern, Classical, and Koine), Hebrew (Modern and Biblical), and Arabic.
To get started, create your personal profile here. If you are a accessing from off-campus, you will first need to sign in with your library login before creating your Mango account.
Once you enter your email address and password, an activation email will be sent to you. Click the activation link in the email message you receive, and your account will become active. You will be able to add language courses, resume lessons where you last ended, and review your progress.
You can access Mango Languages from a flash enabled browser, via the iPhone/iPad app, or with an app for your Google Android device*. Just sign in with your activated login using any of these methods to access your account.
*Due to Android’s lack of native support for certain character sets, some language options will not be available on those devices.
