These scroll fragments were displayed in the exhibit at the Library of Congress, May - August 1993. They were provided courtesy of the Israel Antiquities Authority. The exhibit captions and translations provide background on the fragments and their relationships with the other Dead Sea Scrolls, the Qumran Community, and its Library.
Developed in partnership of the Israel Museum with Google, this resource gives users access to searchable, fast-loading, high-resolution images of five complete DSS scrolls, as well as short explanatory videos and background information on the texts and their history.
The Orion Center was established in 1995 as part of the Institute for Jewish Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and provides many resources for the study of the Scrolls, including a searchable bibliography.
